Gi Weight Classes

Children, Youth, and Junior (ages 5-17) Weight Classes

When registering, Children, youth, and junior competitors are required to actual current weight. Please be accurate and double check weight with gi pants only, as these numbers will help us to form the best brackets possible. Please avoid having children, youth, and juniors cut weight. In order to discourage weight cutting with our children, we use what is commonly called and known as the 10-2 rule. We try and keep the children within 10% of each others body weight and within 2 years in age.
